How do you calculate the price of sending events to the mailing list?
We calculate the price simply based on the number of clubbers who will receive
the mailing. We only send event information to clubbers who have specifically
asked to be notified about events happening near their home town, or within
regions of their choice, and that play the type of music they are interested
in.
Because our list is highly targeted you can be sure that your event details is
sent to the right audience, and only the right audience.
The pricing is currently as follows:
|
Number of clubbers |
Price |
| Less than 100 |
£1 |
| 100 - 399 |
£5 |
| More than 400 |
£10 |
How do you keep your prices so low?
We strive to keep the running costs as low as possible by automating our
systems. This allows us to pass on the saving to you
How do I know you the emails have been sent?
Once all the emails have been sent out to our members we will contact you to let
you know. Unfortunately there is no technology we can use to provide you with
indisputable proof that the emails were sent and reached the intended
recipients. However we do remove any email addresses that have bounced back
following a send so they don't remain on our lists for long.
If you are interested in gauging the effectiveness of our event emailing service
one method we recommend is for you to offer a discount to event, or some other
incentive, for mentioning PartyHandbook.
Is it legal to send bulk emails. Isn't this called 'spam'?
Spam is defined as 'Unsolicited e-mail sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing
lists, individuals, or newsgroups'. In the UK it is illegal to send spam email
and is punishable by a fine of £5,000 in a magistrates court or an unlimited
penalty from a jury.
The emails we send are requested by our members who want to hear about clubbing
events that they will be interested in. We provide the option to 'unsubscribe'
from these emails at any time.
We are also registered with the
Information Commision as required by the Data Protection Act and
we abide by the rules that are designed to protect our members' personal
information. We never pass any email addresses or personal information to a
third party as stated in our privacy policy
